If anyone is interested I'm in the process of making alterations to 1st Edition and would like to start up a campaign at White Cap Comics. The time and day will be entirely up to the group consensus.

I'm trying for a fun experiment using the old rules under the saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

After 4E comes out I'd like to start up with that as well, and, depending on the group's feelings about it, we could convert or we could maintain use of old rules.

I'd like to play at the store for several reasons, because it's where I started playing D&D, amongst other games, it's a good middle ground for people to get to, to play, and while there we can support our "Local Friendly Game Store" and be good patrons for one of the best businesses in Grand Rapids! (Let me hear an A-Men!)

Does anyone happen to have any of the first ten or so Dark Horse Presents?

While having a renewed interest in The Mask I realized just how many cool comics got their start, including The Mask, in old DHP. I've got most of the teens section now but would like to make the single digit section of my DHP collection whole.

Any help here would be great. Thanks!

"The Long Road Home". 1 of each map will be used(this is all the 3hex inch maps available). players will build a 75 pt army. and play 1 game on each map against a random opponent. standard unit limts, no weather conditions, forced march optional, mission based game.

2 v 1 player where 2 players build 75 pt armies and 1 player builds 1 150 pt army. Armies are to be split 50% along unit subtypes consisting of either infantry/armor , armor/aircraft, or infantry/aircraft. deplyoment same as thedesert 2v1 player game we did. Mission based game. 3 jungle maps. Weather conditions applied. Forced March optional.

210 pt. 3 on 3 player game with each player of a team building only a 210 pt armor only, infantry only, or aircraft only army, unit limts are waived; however, no more than 7 pieces of the same named unit allowed of type (ie. you can only field 7 Thomson gunners, 7 SNLF Fanatics, 7 Panzer kubelwagons, etc.) 3map junlgle with longs sides attached all three player work in concert and each turn will be timed at 5 minutes per side per phase (EXCLUDING RULES QUESTIONS OR COMPLICATIIONS) 2 hex-in deployment players share the zone. Weather conditions apply. no forced march.

May 6th, 2008: Trade day for those that want to trade; otherwise, build 2 armies of 120 pts each of same side 1 consisting of mixed armor/infantry, the second either mixed infantry/aircraft or armor/aircraft with all armies split at 50% for each unit type. This Will be a 2-player teamed game with the teams taking thier actions simultaneaously. 2 maps jungle short sides of maps attached. players deploy on long side at 1 hex in with half hexs available on deployment only. Weather conditions applied. standard unit limit. no forced march.
